Microlife That Rots Things

-If you leave a fruit lying around it will turn mouldy and start growing pine moulds from the middle outwards.

-Fungus grows through old wood then decomposes into a powder.

-Getting recycled.

-Chemicals called fungicides stop the mould growing.

When fungus grows through wood it decomposes into a powder that forms a chemical called fungicides, fungicides stop the moulds growing from farmers who spray their crops. When dead plants and animals die their leftover pieces get recycled into soil so new plants and animals can eat them.
