Why did people go to war and fight for their country?
Because people wanted a better living history like having a better land with water and better resources.

Around 18,000 New Zealanders died, and about 41,000 were wounded or felt ill,2779 died at Gallipoli and around 21,000 on the
Western front.

Who was the person who killed Franz Ferdinand?
Gavrilo Princip.

Why is ANZAC important to New zealand and Australia?
Because the people who go off and fight represent their country and the people who get killed during war get remembered.

Who’s idea was it to start war?
Because Gavrilo Princip killed Franz Ferdinand and then the people went over to his land and had a fight for his land.

What does ANZAC stand for?
Australia New Zealand Army Corp.
